IF ~ Spooky

This weeks Illustration Friday is "Spooky" yes I am cutting it close. It's always spooky for me to see the things that pop outta my head this Halloween time of year. Dudley is all ready for trick-or-treating in his new SteamPunk costume. Hopefully I have done his steampunkiness justice.

IF ~ Acrobat

This weeks Illustration Friday is "Acrobat" I must need to upgrade my drawing glasses from the dollar store brand to a real pair because I thought it read "Afrobat" so I drew him.

Next time I will read it twice, I couldn't figure out what they wanted with a bat with an afro...

IF ~ Giant

Jack (Foster) and the Beanstalk. Jack Foster is a friend of sorts, never met him perosnally, but he takes time each week (or when I actually do an illustration friday) to comment on my work. I try to do the same. His style is so cool, big eyes and I believe done in illustrator, love his coloring, something I have yet to master, I will stick to photoshop coloring for now. So this weeks Illustration friday is a little tribute to jack and his style. Maybe not pulled off so well, but the thought is there.  If you have a minute stop by his blog.

Starting next Wednesday I am taking a night class to help me get it done and ready to be sent off possibly to be published. (crossing fingers) . I have always wanted to have a book published. Who knows maybe one day there will be a series or a book or two illustrated by yours truly... One can hope...

IF ~ Renewal

Today's Illustration Friday is "Renewal". Don't ask why I thought of a Vampire being renewed after a good nights sleep on the first day of a new year, January with a foot of snow outside, maybe it's the renewed feeling I have sleeping in my own bed after living in a hotel for the past week and a half...
