International Polar Bear Day...!

It's International Polar Bear Day.

I have recently started a new job at the Utah's Hogle Zoo and there are a lot conservation projects that I will passing along from time to time...this is one of many I am sure...

The Polar Bear Connection
Saving energy produced by carbon-based fuels reduces our carbon emissions and can slow and even reverse global warming, which causes sea ice to melt. Polar bears require sea ice for reaching their prey. Without sea ice, polar bears can't survive.

Did You Know?Heating and cooling account for roughly half of the energy consumption in an average home, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
This is a serious matter and I am not making light of the subject but I also have a weird sense of humor and so I came up with this one... If it gets you thinking about Polar Bears and Global Warming then I have done my job...
