This past weekend for my wife's B-Day we ran away to Snowbird Ski resort to the Oktoberfest. Not the same as the Real Oktoberfest but fun...

Some people have asked to see some samples of the art so far in the October Membership...

Monthly membership...clearing up some confusion...

So I have had a few emails about missing images...Technically this is a monthly membership for October. I have added images already so that people don't have to wait all month to have images to work with. As of right now there are 21 regular images and 3 of the 10 members only images. Images 22-30 will be showing up thru-out the month of October...as well as Members only images 4-10. They are not linked right now because they haven't been posted.

Also the members only images...each month I will have atleast  40 images... 10 of which will be "members only" Say you didn't want to participate in the monthly membership, In November you can get the 30 regular images as a set on my site just like the sets I post regularly, the 10 "members only" images you will have to wait til January to get as a set along with Novembers and Decembers special members only images...Does this make sense? Still confused email me and I will try to explain it better...

October Membership is live...

Someone pointed out it was already Friday somewhere in the world, though it's only 7:40 here. So I have gone thru and set up the October monthly membership a little early. There is a link on my homepage on the left hand side that says "members":

From there you will be taken to a page that has the buy now button for the membership. Once you buy the download, you will receive a zipped file with some of the goodies, they are the same one's that are on the October members page, but it gives you something to use just in case it takes me a few minutes to get you set up, right now I have 21 regular digi's loaded and 3 of the members only art, color and Black n White on most, color coming soon for all of the art if it's not there at this time...Send me an email dustin_pike@yahoo.com once you receive the file and let me know what user ID and password you'd like (all lowercase please) I will get you set up and let you know that you can login and start getting the goodies.

On the page: http://www.doodledragonstudios.com/membersLogin.php there is a login in link for the month, click on that and enter your user ID and password and you should see all the goodies...
I am human and have a crazy life, I am at my computer if I am at home, but do have some family duties and other life things to do, I will get you set up as soon as I can usually pretty fast, on the weekends and during dad's taxi times it might take a little longer than instantly...

Only a Day away......

Tomorrow's the big day... One more day to go...

Last night as I find myself doing way to often, I was surfing, checking links, commenting on others blogs etc. and I came upon an awesome challenge blog. I love all things Disney, BUT I also love everything Tim Burton as well. I don't know if the 2 below were a combination of Halloween coming, Myself watching the Nightmare Before Christmas last night, excited for Little Big Planet 2 on the PS3 then finding this blog. http://theburtonesquedolls.blogspot.com/ but here they are, haven't named them yet, don't know if I will they might just be an idea soon forgotten...

This weeks Illustration Friday is "Acrobat" I must need to upgrade my drawing glasses from the dollar store brand to a real pair because I thought it read "Afrobat" so I drew him.

New Halloween SVG...

I have just turned the Splat Witch from my recent release into an SVG, the zip file contains a High res version of the finished witch, a PDF version, and SVG files in each color.

Drop shadows are just there for effect...I am trying something new today. Adding the buy now here to see if you can't just purchase while reading this post...

A few, well actually a lot of you have been emailing me about the monthly club. It will start Friday October 1st. It will be $10 bucks a month, 40 plus images, 10 of which will not be available the next month but only available 2 times a year. The other 30 will be available the following month so those who choose not to join will still have digi's to use on holiday projects and cards...Everyone else will have a one month head start on cardmaking. One week prior I will open the sign up for the club, when you join you will receive a few digi's to tide you over til the month starts. Those that sign up before the first of the month will receive an additional bonus...A discounted monthly price of...$7.50. On the first it will go up to $10 dollars to join. I will have the sign up page up and any additional information on Friday the 24th.

October Monthly Club Teasers.....

Monthly Digi Club News, This N That...

So sad to say there was no Krispy Kreme burger at the Utah State Fair...Sad I know....But they did have this....

Chocolate covered deep fried bacon...Yummmmm and they also had deep fried Snickers, those were awesome as well...

I got second place on the Alice in Wonderland ATC's I entered, (not too bad.)

Saw the pig races, rode the GIANT yellow slide and a few other traditional Fair things...









I have decided to go ahead with the Monthly Digi-Stamp Club, (on a trial basis.)
This is how I am seeing it work.
Starting in October I will set up a Monthly Digi-Stamp Club...there will be atleast 40 if not more digi's thru-out  the month, 10 of which will be Members Only Digi's.
I will work 2 months ahead, October will be Christmas things. In November the Digi's that were part of the October month will be available to those who decided not to participate as a set still giving you time to use those images.  BUT not the Members Only Digi's..
The 10 Members Only Digi's will only be available 2 times a year. January thru June's Members Only Digi's will be a set in July and July thru December will be a set in January. Other than that if you want them you need to be a member...
I will still be doing some normal sets as well, creating new art for High Hopes Stamps and whatever else the art world needs of me. I know this will work for some and not all, yes some are on tight budgets, the price will be fair as with all of my digi's, I too am un-employed for the time and this is my job as of now as well as playing taxi and keeping the house in order....

I am debating on whether or not to start up a monthly Digi-Club, Members would have art one month before non-members and a few other surprises as well.
