Finally a Freebie...

This past weekend the wife and I disappeared for a few days and went to Disneyland without the kids... Talk about weird...But nice at the same time...

No trip is complete without a photo in front of the castle.

Dudley took his photo there as well.

After all that walking Dudley needed a snack.

Went to the animation academy at Disney's California Adventure, no laughing at my grumpy, he's rough...

Ran into Billy Hill and one of the HillBilly's, If you have never seen this show at the Golden Horshoe in Frontierland I highly recommend taking the time to sit down and watch these guys, it's on the Pike family list of things we must do on a Disney trip. They also have Ice Cream sundaes there so it's a double bonus.

Eating at the Blue Bayou inside Pirates isn't something we do with the kids on a normal trip, so mom and dad splurged and I had to have a Monte Cristo, the greatest sandwich ever made...EVER, I am serious...everrrrrrr

Flying home I actually got a window seat, that almost never happens...
We had a great time, missed the kids like crazy but had an awesome time together for the first time in 16 years...

Oh yes and a Freebie..
He's just as ready for Spring as I am especially after being in Southern California and having things in bloom and warm enough temps for wearing shorts everyday..
